How it works

A few quiet minutes

  1. Read.

One short reading: a verse or a brief reflection, with its source in plain sight.

  2. Choose a step.

One focus you pick yourself. On planned days, “I did it” or “Skip today”.

  3. Write a line.

What stayed with you, in a few words. Only you can read it.

Sourced

Know what you’re reading.

Arabic text, translation and commentary are labeled separately. The source is always shown, and the translation is never shortened.

Every reading is reviewed before it’s published. If we get something wrong, you can tell us and we’ll correct it.

How we choose and review content

SourceQur'an · 94:5–6

With hardship

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ﴿٥﴾ إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ﴿٦﴾

Translation

(5) With hardship comes ease. (6) With hardship comes ease.

Short reflection

Even within a hard day, it may be possible to look for a small ease.

Your routine

Steady, not perfect.

No streaks, no scores, no backlog. Take a break whenever you need and continue from where you left off. An empty day is just an empty day.

Topics

Where would you like to begin?

Pick a topic and its readings come first. You can change it anytime.

Reminder

One gentle reminder, if you want it.

Once a day, at a time you choose. Show a private text on your lock screen if you prefer. Turn it off anytime.

Reminders depend on your phone’s notification settings. Steady Deen is not a prayer times or adhan app.

Questions

Common questions

Is Steady Deen free?

Do I need an account?

No. You never sign up, and the app doesn’t ask for your name or email address. Your entries are stored encrypted on your iPhone. If you buy Plus, it’s tied to your Apple Account, not to an account with us.

Where does the content come from, and who reviews it?

Each reading is a verse from the Quran or a short reflection, and its source is always shown. The Arabic text comes from the Tanzil Project, the English translation is by Talal Itani (ClearQuran), and the Turkish translation is from QuranEnc (Rowad Translation Center). Every reading is reviewed before it’s published, and Source details in the app show the reference and usage terms.

Is this a prayer-times app?

No. Steady Deen is not a prayer times or adhan app, and it does not replace religious guidance. Its optional daily reminder arrives at a time you choose, and its delivery depends on your phone’s settings, so please don’t rely on it as a prayer alert.

Which languages and devices does it support?

Steady Deen is in English and Turkish. It’s designed for iPhone and needs iOS 13 or later; the App Store page always shows the current requirement. An Android version is planned for later, with no date yet.
